We wanted to craft a rum unlike the rum you most often find in the U.S. Instead of mild flavor from multidistillation, Lassiter’s rum is a single distilled rum that is designed to stand up and stand out in the world’s greatest cocktails, whether they’re mixed by a master mixologist or by your favorite aunt after a home-cooked meal. Our full-flavored rums are crafted entirely in-house by our family, and we take pride in producing a spirit that will hopefully bring a little warmth and joy to you and your family.

Skin the lemons and place the peels in a large heatproof bowl. Add the Demerara sugar and middle to infuse the sugar with the lemon oils. Bring 1 quart of water to a boil, remove from heat and add the tea bags. After 5 minutes, remove the tea bags and pour the tea into the bowl with the sugar and lemon peels. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the lemon juice, rums and stir before allowing to cool for at least an hour in the refrigerator. Grate nutmeg over the punch and serve over ice or in a punch bowl with an ice cube with a lemon garnish.
