Are you ready for some FOOTBALL??!! We are too! We are also ready for some Easy Super Bowl Chili! This recipe is world famous and super easy and full of beans! Literally just dump it all in and cook it up!
Prep Time: 30 Mins Cook Time: 1:30 mins
2 Cans Dark Red Kidney Beans (Drained)
2 Cans Light Red Kidney Beans (Drained)
2 Cans Great White Northern Beans (Drained)
2 Cans Seasoned Black Beans
4 Cans Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes
1 Whole Onion, Diced
1-2 Cloves of Garlic, Diced
2 Packets of Chili Seasoning (Mild, Med, or Hot)
1 LB of Soy Crumbles or Lean Ground Beef
1 TBL SP Chili Powder
1 TS SP Cumin
1 Green Pepper (Optional)
1 Red Pepper (Optional)
1lb Frozen Corn (Optional)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Grab your largest pot and turn the stove top to medium high heat. Pour in enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pot evenly, add onion and garlic (any other fresh or frozen veggies), sauté. Add soy crumbles or ground beef, cook completely if using ground beef, don't drain. Add one can of tomatoes and one packet of chili mix. Stir well. Add the rest of the beans and tomatoes with one can of water. Add cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper. While stirring, bring to a strong simmer. Reduce heat to medium stir often, for 30 minutes and cover. Reduce heat to low and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Take off heat and allow for cooling! Add, sharp cheddar or sour cream as toppings!
Try with Jiffy Corn Bread mix or Ritz Crackers!
